The regret that you can't return is something
you can only see in hindsight. Because you will more or less remember it.
Before you even realize it the pain of regret,
the sense of duty and even the feel of shame upon failing diminishes, after months
even the lingering feelings of regrets and duty which stays inside us and shout
“Stop, reconsider before it’s too late”, but we are powerless not just mentally
but also spiritually and go on and on, then the voices of your conscience stop
and the feeling no longer form. The thing you later realize after years has
passed is how empty you are, how weak and worthless you have become but even so
you don’t stop and continue mindlessly and end up losing a future of a vivid
life.
